Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. Her most well-known work is her roles in FX's horror show American Horror Story (2011-2021). For her role as Portia, in Broadway's production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated to the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits(2017). Vice (2018). Fractured 2019 and The Tender Bar 2021. Rabe was also seen on television in The Whispers (2015) and The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021) as well as The First Lady (2022). The first time she appeared on screen was 2001 opposite Jill Clayburgh, her mother. In addition, she made her first professional stage appearance with her mother at the Gloucester Stage Company of Massachusetts. She starred in two one-act plays: Speaking Well of the Dead by Israel Horovitz and The Crazy Girl by Frank Pugliese,roles that allowed her to obtain an Equity Card. In July 2003, she appeared in Proof by David Auburn at the Gloucester Stage Company. The same year, she appeared in the film Mona Lisa Smile. After graduating, she came back to New York. She appeared in White Jesus, a one-act play written by Deirdre Owen that was presented at the Naked Angels Theater Company from September 29 until October 2, 2004.
