Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born on March 4 1954. O'Hara has won numerous prizes which include an award called a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was made an Officer of Canada. In the year 2020, she received the Governor General’s Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara was first recognized for her acting in the year 1974 when she was a member of The Second City in Toronto. Together with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the principal casting for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd started work in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara received high praise for her comedy acting and writing skills which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for the Variety Series in 1982. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
