Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate and an anchor on television at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of the show The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would not be on the show, at the end of May in 2021. They planned to launch their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has guest starred in shows such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News), and CNN (CNBC). Ball has been married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball attributes her further interest in politics due to her experience as a new mother during the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She was able to observe the effect it had on the citizens of her country and developed an appreciation for the worldwide influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 1st district in the year 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She was the host of The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 to July 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
